This is the time to remember what life is truly about. To remember your immense power, potential and grace - to bring your dreams back to the forefront and get creative.
This weekend, we invite you to step into the portal of your heart and listen. What makes you, you? What makes you smile? What makes you love deeply? We will explore these questions through kundalini yoga, movement, breath-work, journaling, creative workshops, guided meditations and sound baths. It will be summer in NYC so be sure to soak up that Vitamin D and relax among nature!

Ananda Ashram is such a special and profound place - a place of reverence, where so much knowledge and spiritual teachings are continually passed down - we are honored to hold this wellness retreat here. Ananda Ashram is the perfect place to step out of your daily routine and enjoy the simple things in life. The ashram grounds are so green and beautiful in the summer, with a big lake and a pool to cool down. And just a 1 hour train ride from NYC!
Monroe, NY. At the magical, Ananda Ashram. Located 1 hour right outside of NYC. There is a train that goes directly to the town and you can catch a cab five minutes to the Ashram.

Meet Laura Sacco
Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Teacher
Laura Sacco is a 200hr KRI certified Kundalini Yoga & Meditation Teacher. Her Kundalini journey began while attending a Wellness Retreat where Kundalini Yoga was introduced to her. Once she felt the blissful effects of Kundalini Yoga she immediately signed up for Teacher Training at Golden Bridge Yoga in New York City, where she dove deep into this unique and profound technology.
Laura feels that everyone could benefit from the simple tools of Kundalini Yoga, to lead a more healthy, happy, and fulfilling life.
She attributes Kundalini Yoga & Meditation as Taught by Yogi Bhajan, to help awaken her true potential, and hopes to do the same for the Yoga & Wellness community of Staten Island.
Laura currently resides in New York City, where she is a special education teacher for students with autism. When she is not teaching young children, she spends her time sharing and spreading the teachings of Kundalini Yoga.
Meet Jessica Moroz
Meditation & Yoga Instructor
Jessica Moroz is a Registered Yoga Instructor with over 500 hours in certifications all around the world. Jessica began her yoga journey right before she was about to enter a competitive Dental Hygiene program in 2014. She felt called to sign up for a month long intensive to become a yoga instructor and she couldn’t be happier with her spontaneous decision. Now 5 years later, Jessica is working full time as a yoga and meditation teacher while growing her jewelry business Moroz Designs Co. Jessica has a full yoga schedule of indoor and outdoor classes in Staten Island, NY. She curates creative events, hosts moon gatherings and leads guided meditations. Jessica loves leading wellness retreats and gathering individuals from all walks of life.
Jessica’s mission is to create a safe space for you to explore the depths of your soul’s essence, the real you, your own unique style and flavor. Combining her love for movement, dance and expression, Jessica’s yoga classes are fluid and fun. With attention to detail and breath, Jessica will take you for a journey into exploring your body and breath with great awareness.
