Simplicity of Being :: A meditation & self-inquiry retreat

This weekend retreat will be held at Ananda Ashram, a beautiful serene yoga community in Monroe, NY. This gathering is all about doing LESS. Slowing down and savoring the simple and magical moments of life. As we turn our senses inward we learn more about who we are, opening the doors to feel our magnificence and remember what it means to be human. Remembering that there is no light without the dark, there is no beauty without the pain. Remembering that we weren’t always loved the way we wanted or needed love, but its never too late to re-commit to the Power of LOVE, the power of prayer. May we come together and tap into this overflowing space of peace, compassion, forgiveness and unconditional love.

Ananda Ashram has a full schedule of events and yoga classes. Feel free to follow your heart and go where you are called to go. This weekend is all about freedom, living in the moment and enjoying just being you.

Arrival & Departure Details:
Please arrive around Friday 4:30-5pm for check-in at the Main House. Your room assignments will be given to you here.
Departure is by 2pm on Sunday.

Meet your retreat leader, Jessica Moroz
Registered Yoga Teacher & Reiki Practitioner
Jessica is a Yoga and Meditation instructor based in New York City. Her love for mother nature, meditating, dancing, and creating community continues to grow every day. Jessica’s favorite thing about teaching is being able to hold a safe space for others to connect with themselves on a deeper, more profound level. Yoga and meditation allows anyone to explore their bodies and learn more about who they are on the inside. Jessica has a unique way of teaching - her class style includes a slower vinyasa flow combining mantra, breath and movement to explore the more subtle aspects of the human body. Every class begins with a short meditation plus opening chant and ends with a head massage.
Jessica has completed over 500 hours of training in the past 6 years. She has studied yoga all over the world and recently completed 200hrs with Meghan Currie in Bali, Indonesia. Jessica first received her 200hr RYT at Laughing Lotus back in 2014 and soon after completed a 50 hr Advanced Fly Training. Jessica visited Maheshwar, India in 2016 to study the Yoga Sutras by Patanjali and learn about Agni Hotra and sacred fire ceremonies. She received her Reiki Attunements (Level 1 & 2) with Reiki Masters, Lyndsey Harrington and Lisa Levine at Maha Rose, in Brooklyn, NY.
